Connecting With Polar Curves

Polar graphs can present quite a conundrum for students as they try to connect many different concepts and representation.  We will explore methods for helping students make connection between their past knowledge and the new concepts of polar curves with visual representations. We will utilize technology to create dynamic links between the Cartesian and Polar coordinate systems.
