Optimizing Calculus With the TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator
The full power of the TI-84 Plus CE in a calculus classroom is in its use as a teaching and exploration tool. With limited teaching time though, teachers can find it difficult to make good use of this power. In this session, we will look at using the TI-84 Plus CE, TI-Smartview™ CE emulator software, and TI-Connect to optimize classroom instruction time and focus the learning on the concepts of calculus. We will use these tools in conjunction with GDB and program files to explore a variety of calculus lessons in context.
